- Domain & Email Check
Is your domain healthy, and is your email landing in spam?
Type your business domain. In about ten seconds you’ll see when it expires, whether your website loads securely, and, if you like, whether the email records Gmail and Outlook look for are set up right. Thinking of a new name? We’ll tell you if it’s available.
Three things that quietly break small businesses
Most domain and email problems don’t announce themselves. The domain lapses on an old card and the site and email go dark together. Invoices land in spam for months because a record was never added. A scammer sends “from” your address because nothing tells Gmail not to trust them.
This check reads the same public records every mail server and browser reads, then tells you in plain English what’s fine and what needs fixing.
Every check, in one pass
- Registration, registrar & renewal date
- Nameservers & who runs your DNS
- Website on both www and non-www
- HTTPS & a valid certificate
- Email provider (MX records)
- SPF, DKIM & DMARC
Domain & email check FAQ
Why is my business email going to spam?
The most common reason is missing or broken SPF, DKIM, or DMARC records. They prove to Gmail, Outlook, and Yahoo that a message really came from your domain. Without them, your messages look the same as a scammer’s. Here’s how we set them up.
Do I need a DMARC record?
Yes. Gmail and Yahoo require DMARC for domains that send email in bulk, and it’s the only record that tells receiving servers to reject mail that fakes your domain. Starting at p=none is fine, but the goal is quarantine or reject.
Is this check safe to run on my domain?
Yes. It only reads public DNS and registry records, the same ones every mail server reads when you send an email. Nothing is changed, and we don’t store the domain you check. The lookups go from your browser straight to public DNS resolvers and the domain’s registry.
What happens if my domain expires?
Your website and email stop working at the same time. After a grace period the domain can be released and registered by someone else, including people who resell expired business domains. We can manage renewals for you.
Can you fix the problems the check finds?
Yes. Most issues are a few DNS records. Send us your results from the report and we’ll tell you exactly what it takes, or we’ll set it up as part of a business email or domain plan.
